Con Artist Stole Our Money

we are in desperate need

of new kennels

We were the victim of a scam ……..

For the last 18 months, we have been saving for new kennels as we simply do not have enough kennel space.

You can imagine how exciting it was for us to finally be in a position to put a deposit down in December 2021, with work expected to start on 5th January 2022

Unfortunately, the builder failed to turn up and after 3 months of patiently waiting and accepting his excuses as genuine (bearing in mind Covid and it being quite reasonable for needing time off and delays) it became apparent we have been conned after he failed to acknowledge or respond to our messages.

We then found out we were not the only people this gentleman has stolen money off. Although, it is undeniably a little comforting to know we are not alone and perhaps therefore not as stupid or foolish as we feel, it still does not help us with the kennels we so desperately need.

We urgently need these kennels. Especially as  more and more dogs are being surrendered to us with families unable to afford looking after their pets. A crisis, we are acutely aware is set to get worse as the cost of living crisis takes hold.

We need at least 2 more kennel blocks like you see in the photo above. These cost £4595 each and that doesn’t include the bases, the drainage, lights and electrics.

We are therefore on a mission to raise enough money to purchase these kennels, buy the paving slabs needed for the bases. the drainage and plumbing for cleaning so we have created a JustGiving page for anyone who would like to make a donation. Alternatively, you can make a donation direct into our bank account or request a payment link to make a donation by card.

We are also holding a series of fundraising events including fun days, raffles, dog walks and more
